Simply place your cast iron in 300 F oven for 15 minutes, remove and slide a thin layer of wax over the heated pan. Wipe and repeat. Use a paper towel to reduce excess wax. Place your cast iron back into the oven upside down, increase the temperature to 480 F and leave 60 minutes. You can repeat the process several times if needed.
